Working on my FITNESS

                                    Currently, I'm doing a little program called PIYO! It's blend of PILATES and YOGA with an upbeat pace. Before you say...ughh, that doesn't sound like a workout, let me just tell you...IT IS A TOUGH ONE! I keep saying that its the first workout that I feel physically and MENTALLY better after finishing! And did I mention, how much I sweat during each one?!?! It's definitely a workout that makes me wring out my shirt! Check out this VIDEO of ME getting my PIYO on!








P90X is an EXTREME HOME FITNESS program that uses the advanced science of Muscle Confusion. What does that really mean??? When I was going to the gym for months, I was hardly noticing any results. Yes, I noticed results at first, but then they just STOPPED! I was doing the same exercises over and over again...therefore, making my body plateau. I wasn't "confusing" my muscles enough to see more results. P90X uses targeted training phases so your body keeps adapting and growing. You'll never "plateau"—which means your body will never get used to the routines, making improvements slow down or even stop.

Honestly, it was no walk in the park, but the workouts are what you put into them. As a girl, I was worried that I wouldn't be able to do any pulls up or push ups, but I gave it my all and by the time I had completed the 90 days, I could actually do assisted pull ups and definitely became so much stronger. The first week of Phase 1 was killer. I remember saying to my husband, "I can't breath! I can't finish this! Really babe, I can't breath, I think I'm dying!" However, with much motivation from the hubs, I actually finished the hour long workout. But some workouts (especially Plyometrics), I couldn't even make it through the whole DVD. I would have to press pause and catch my breath, but being determined, I pressed play again. The whole first phase, my husband and I would have to sit outside for at least 30 minutes afterwards to catch our breaths. The first week of each phase was always the hardest and most challenging, but if you can make a commitment to yourself to continue PRESSING PLAY, it becomes easier and easier! I loved my results so much, I decided to become a BEACHBODY COACH and help others reach their fitness goals!!!

The great part about FOCUS T25 is that you can follow Shaun T and push your hardest or follow the modifier. Even if you are just starting out on your fitness journey, anyone at any fitness level can expect AWESOME results. Here are my results just HALFWAY through the program...with ONLY WORKING OUT 25 MINUTES A DAY!!!
